Additional PV plus an EV charger
I shopped around and got some quotes to fit additional PV to my garage (I already have some on the house) plus an EV charger.
This is a slightly unusual setup and some companies weren’t interested in doing anything even quoting. Of those that were, John from Bristol Solar was the most helpful, quickly understood what was needed, and came in at a good price. Everything was fitted quickly, and he went above and beyond, even having a look at a problem with the existing solar installation he didn’t fit.
If I need any more solar or roof work done I’ll definitely be giving Bristol Solar a call!

Roof replacement
I foolishly put new panels on an old roof a few years back. When it became clear our roof needed replacing I was worried about the extra cost and complexity. John was very reassuring about the process, including the disconnection and safe storage of the panels whilst the roof was replaced. Super impressed with their communication, care and perfectionism in the work. The roof looks great, the cost was cheaper than other quotes and the solar is working better than before.

These guys are really knowledgeable and helpful. We already had a system but it was quite old, so we upgraded to a new set of panel, new inverter and a battery. They adjusted their estimate as they reused the mounting rail excetera. Couldn’t be happier, the new system is working flawlessly and we are importing very little power from the grid and are exporting a lot more.

First class service from John and his team. From quote to final fitting of the 10 Solar panels. They were professional, friendly, took care in cleaning up and were always on time. Everything was explained and when unforeseen issues arose, John was always clearly communicating the next steps. The re-roofing was a top job and even the smallest detail was not missed by them. I can’t praise them enough and have already recommended them. The whole project was well managed and the price was very reasonable. Used Bristol Solar to install 3.4kw solar with hybrid inverter. Bristol Solar are a great company from initial quote to install. They were quick to come back with a full and detailed quote and we're very helpful in working through options, no sales people or third party installers, just straightforward and direct contact with the team doing the work. Installation was quick and to a very high standard including bird guard within the standard quote. Friendly and trustworthy company, great work at a good price. Couldn't be happier.
